Top Questions I Get Asked As A Travel Blogger

I have been a full-time traveler for about 3 years now and blogger for much longer and I get asked a lot of the same questions about my job and lifestyle so I decided to write them down here and answer them all for you guys 🙂

1. How much do you get paid?

That is literally the first thing anyone asks me as soon as I tell them what I do the answer is it varies, I don’t make the same amount each month and I definitely don’t make millions but I make enough to be comfortable. I make anywhere between 1500£ – 2000£ and I ALWAYS make sure to have a saving account for those months where I earn less ( had to learn the hard way)

2. When are you going to get a real job?

Uh.. excuse me? I get paid for what I do how is that not a “Real job” and what does that even mean?! Only cause I don’t work a 9-5 job in an office doesn’t make what I do any less real.

3. When are you going to settle down?

who knows? Maybe never. The max I can stay in one place without going anywhere is 4 months then I have to go out there and explore again. Traveling runs through my veins and as long as I enjoy doing it I will keep on traveling, and yes in the future I will probably get a house in a permanent place but you will still see me travel at least twice a year 😉

4. How many hours a day do you work?

I work every day. It can take anywhere from 5 hours to 12 hours a day. There is a lot behind the scenes about blogging that people don’t know.

5. When did you start blogging?

I started blogging in 2013 when I was 18. I just wanted to share my thoughts and did it as a hobby then years later I realized I was actually good at it and could make money by writing so I started writing for other bloggers, websites, and magazines to make income and only recently I decided to focus more on my own blogs.

I hope that this post has answered some of your questions about being a blogger. What are your thoughts on blogging? comment down below!
