5 Easy Ways To Reduce Plastic While Traveling

Plastic is everywhere and it is really hard to avoid but it’s not impossible and when 8 million tonnes of plastic ends up in the ocean it is our responsibility to change our habits and be more eco-friendly. Let’s reduce the amount of waste we produce to keep our planet happy. Here are 5 super simple ways to reduce your waste and be greener.




1. Bring a reusable water bottle

way too many plastic bottles are wasted every year, skip them and bring your own bottle. Most restaurants and hotel have filtered free water available so you can fill up everywhere you go.

2. Bring your own reusable utensils

say no to plastic forks and knives and bring your own reusable ones not only will you save on plastic but they are also more sturdy and way cuter. I have these bamboo utensils.

3. Use a bamboo toothbrush

Did you know that all the plastic toothbrushes that were ever created back in the 1930s still exists today?! You can avoid that by simply switching to bamboo toothbrushes. The bamboo toothbrush I use is flat and minimal so they take less space in my beauty bag.

4. Bring your own reusable straw

Stop sucking! There is no need for plastic straws say NO to them and instead bring your own bamboo, glass or stainless steel straws.

5. Bring your own bag

Refuse plastic bags and bring your own cute travel tote they are way more durable and sturdy.
Let’s make our planet green again. 
With these simple and easy steps, you are working towards a better and greener environment. There is no planet B so we have to work together to keep our planet clean.
